A few words about Constantia
Located less than 10 kilometers away from Cape Town, Constantia is home to the oldest wine estates in South Africa. Developed by Simon van der Stele (first Governor if the Cape) in 1685, the original Constantia farm has been divided over the years in many smaller farms, some of them producing wine.
The Constantia area is known for its wide range of cepages (cultivars), and of course by its internationally renowned Vin de Constance.
