Want to go back in time? Then Drostdy Hof is your place. While the wines are not of the top-range class, they are still honest and easy-drinking (their Sauvignon was awarded the best bag-in-box white in 2011). What makes Drostdy Hof special is the place: An old Cape Dutch magistrate court, where you'll be able to have a wine tasting around the barrels, or by candelights. Very nice among friends or in couple indeed.
