Authentic, terroir driven, open-minded, enthusiast, fun, good looking (so says my wife!) , what should more accurately describe Adi Badenhorst? Everything I guess, though I must add sincerity! Tasting wines from Adi is like eating a part of Swartland! His wines are multi-dimensional (complex if you want to, easy to drink if you're with friends). What is the secret ? Respect! Respect for the people, respect for the land, respect for the terroir, respect for nature, respect for the way wines are produced. The entry-level wines (Secateur's) offer an amazing quality/price ratio, and the Badenhorst white and red blends are superb. And if you're really nice, ask Adi for a "funky" white...You're in for a (GREAT) surprise! And yes, Adi is also a leading member of the Swartland revolution!

Did You Know...? Want to spend more time on the estate, there is now a self-catering cottage, just next to the cellar. As a bonus, you'll be treated with a full access to the (amazing!) vegetable garden, and with fresh organic eggs that your children will take directly from the coop! This is life!
