Spier is far more than a wine estate. Whether you decide to have your wine experience in the relaxed courtyard or the more formal lounge, or even in the cellar where you will be able to compare older vintages to the new ones, straight from the barrel, you'll be amazed by the impressive range of wines. And if coming with your family, a number of activities will keep you busy all day, from the Cheetah or Birds of Prey encounter, horse-riding, the spa, the gift shop, the numerous restaurants (including a large african-inspired buffet at Moyo), or just a nice visit of the gardens with a wonderful picnic basket... Come for the wine, stay for the day!

Did You Know...? Spier was the first South African winery to receive certification from the Wine Industry Ethical Trade Association as well as the Fair Trade Initiative, and are a member of the Biodiversity & Wine Initiative.
